Some crazy feedback happening here! Ha.

Awesome stuff, as per usual. On the non-photo side of things, she has AWESOME hair and makeup. Like, seriously perfect. And his hair is similarly excellent. Do you do any skin or hair retouching? Or do they really look that amazing?

I'm also curious how you got such awesome captures of her hair in the wind. Just laying on the shutter and picking the best? Or actively thinking about how/where the hair will flow?

Posing is so good, like always. I'm taking your posing class at WPPI (the only one I bothered to sign up for) and I'm stoked!

Great work.

Haha thanks Mike! Excited to see you there. It's one of my favorite classes to teach!

They both did have great skin but I do retouch using a technique called frequency separation in PS. Allows me to edit the tones/texture individually.

As for her hair, I placed her intentionally so her hair would blow the right way (away from them) and then clicked away to choose the best one.

Thanks for the info! I've used frequency separation every so often, just didn't realize people used it so often on so many photos.

These feel so authentic. #3 is wonderful - her hair all messy in his hands like that. Very intimate. What a bright, shiny beacon in the sea of painfully forced engagement shoots.
