I couldn't help but to be thinking of Ben this morning as the sun came up.

I think y'all can understand why.

Not as nice as Ben's work but I've been waiting for a long time to shoot this place in the fall with decent color and I'm pretty happy with how these came out.

I'm open for any and all C&C.
Let me have it folks, I like pain.

Dave

All is fine here from the escarpment and its reflection to the brilliant framing of the lake by autumn colors. Well done, indeed!

Gorgeous, and what do you mean not like mine, I wish that were true. First is my fav by far, I like the first light vibe here.

Wow Thanks Ben! I don't think I've ever gotten a "gorgeous" critique before. I knew you would like the first light vibe. I'm happy to hear I done did good with it.

I get lucky sometimes and I've had a great support group here to guide me along the right path.
I just need to work on my "consistency" me thinks.
Thanks for the kind words Kent!

Nice ones, Dave. #2 for me.

#1 - my eyes are drawn to the lit part and have a hard time breaking off

#3 - that dang pier/walkway/whatever totally kills this for me. Maybe if it were worn and weathered, but that thing is clashing against an otherwise beautiful scene.

What I'd like to see if #3 in the morning with some fog on the water and your primary subject be that rock/tree formation in the water. Oh yeah, long exposure too.
