Is there any site that hosts the current used gear pricing, preferably graphed over time. Would be interesting, also I'm mainly focused on Nikon pricing so I figured this was the best place to ask.

You're looking for something like a Kelly Blue Book for lenses, that doesn't exist.

The trend appears to be about 10-15% off of USED BH listings could be found here on FM.
For instance, 70-200/4 about 1000-1100 BH, here between 8-900

Yes, was hoping for something more advanced, so you could see depreciation graphed to project future prices say 6 months out, 1 year, ect.

Doesn't exist. If you can write the program and create the site, you'll have a niche market all to yourself!

Researching completed listings on eBay is about the most direct way to look at this. Then keep on mind that eBay and PayPal collectively take about 11% out of the seller's pocket.

A better plan is to buy what you are going to use, photograph with it, enjoy your images, improve your skills, and then let the fates decide the going price at the end when/if you decide to sell. Now if you have to assign a number, then take 50-75% of new... If your gear stays pristine/immaculate.
