just a quick review for people who might be looking for an arca swiss compatible lens collar for Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E AFS ED VR, I was looking at Kirk ($190), ain't cheap, I know the quality is there. And I then found one on eBay, it showed all the detailed photos for the lens collar on the Nikon 200-500mm lens, and it's $44 shipped from southern China. I decided to give it a try since I would have PayPal protection if the quality is not up to standard. To my surprise after receiving it in the mail today, I'd got to say, it's a gem, great build quality, perfect fit, I am very satisfied with the collar. (I own multiple RRS and Kirk lens collars, plates, clamps, and their products)...

Forgot to add this, it works great on my RRS clamp and a 3rd party one as well...

Nice find! I have the kirk and it's better than the stock plate, but not way better. This looks like a good alternative.

Hello Luke.

I have the same lens and I find the knob to small for me to do up tight as I have arthritis in my hands and the lens keeps moving in its collar.

the quality is surprisingly good, not saying it's RRS or Kirk good, but I'd say up to 90-95% of the RRS or Kirk quality

the knob on this lens collar is definitely a little bigger, but not much, not sure it would help that much.

40 grams difference, not that much noticeable.

Add on an AS plate to the OEM...and it becomes a moot point
