How long after a wet clean with visible dust solution, before I should take a test image?
Thanks,
Jim

About 3 years in my special drying chamber. D5s only!!!

On a more serious note, if you have to ask this you are using too much fluid.

By the time you get a lens back on the camera and your finger on the shutter button, the fluid should/will have already evaporated.

It should evaporate almost immediately, pretty much behind the swab as you finish the pass. One mistake a lot of people make is not waiting long enough for the fluid to absorb evenly into the swab, and they end up getting streaks because too much fluid is transferred to the sensor. No need to soak it (not saying that you are, just a caution).
