Nice action shot Rick. I like the pano crop you chose and think it works very well.

I might be wrong but I don't think this is a good subject for panning. There are too many subjects moving in every imaginable direction. You would most likely end up with everything blurred and nothing sharp.

If I'm wrong about this I would love to see images where this has been pulled off as I do think it would look nice. If crittical sharpness could be achived on the main target that is.

nice capture
his shirt doesn't look right. Close to blown out in spots + pink tone, blue shadows. Not sure what to do other than highlight recovery and perhaps reduce saturation there a bit. Besides exposure, I suspect it is the combo of direct, shadowed and reflected light.
