p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Type of files to Send to Lab

I recently has a request for a very large aluminum print and I questioned if I'm sending the correct file type to the lab.
I always shoot in RAW, edit and export in JPG. Never had any problems with prints from JPG files but since this is a large print, would I be loosing resolution? Any help is appreciated.

doesn't the lab provide guidelines and/or print profiles for submitting work?

You won't lose any resolution, but if it's a large enough print, you *might* see some jpeg artifacts if you're saving with too much compression. Also, most online labs specify jpegs. If you use quality level 10-12, you should be fine.
