Well, the season ended yesterday. Injuries and more injuries piled up on a team that was built lean from the beginning. Why you put a team together with 15 players is beyond me . . .Anyway, it all came down to the final game of the season. HFC needed a tie or a win to win the league and move to the Premier League.

This was also a strange field. This was at a High School, the field was small (why fields are not regulation is strange), the field was grass, but turf inside the 6 yard box and finally, there was a fence surrounding the field, one foot behind the benches and goals. I shot mostly from the opening to the field.

I am trying a few different processing types in this set. Just trying some new things.

Abigail Haines Keeps the ball out of her end of the field

Pali Smith juking the defense

Emily Baird goes strong to the goal

HFC tries to control the midfield

HFC pulls it out, they needed a tie or win to win the league.

Very tough lighting conditions Mike but you got it done. How to did you revise processing in ref to shadows and highlights?

Thanks, to be honest for the shadows I really just did local adjustments in LR to the faces.

For most of the pics I played with the saturation and vibrance and clarity.

On 3, I kind of wanted the background to appear almost "painted".
