p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · shooting flash in low light

hey guys, so I am LOVING the switch to Fuji(XT2 with 35 f2 and 50-140 f2.8) However my problem is trying to shoot in low light with a flash. If I use say ISO 400 with the flash set so it will properly light the subject, the subject is completely black and its tough to see if the picture is in focus when focusing. But i dont want to shoot at ISO 6400 with a small pop of a flash so i can "see" the subject but have much higher noise...

Any tips? Or is this just one of the things we gotta live with as far as mirrorless goes? I could always get an Xpro2 with OVF for this kinda stuff.

There's a setting in preview exposure that sorts this
