p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Northern Ireland in February

Hi, All!

I have been traveling quite a bit these days, and this time I have made a travel reservation for 2/17/17 to 3/1/17 for Dublin flight. My primary shooting place is the Dark Hedges in Northern Ireland.

If any one could recommend some great locations not to miss, I would be happy to know them. I am more into the landscapes, but this time I am looking for some other venue as well.

Thank you!

There are lots of locations along the Antrim coast and also the adjacent county Donegal (Republic of Ireland). Here are some of my favorites (in addition to the ones already mentioned):

- Causeway coast way walking trail near Benbane head
- Glenariff Forest Park
- Mussenden Temple
- Kinbane Castle ruins
- Whiterocks Beach, Portrush
- Glenveagh National Park (Donegal)
- Mount Errigal (Donegal)
- Fanad Head lighthouse (Donegal)
- Great Pollett Arch (Donegal)
- Kinnego Bay (Donegal)

You can see some examples here:

Unfortunately, the sun will be from the south at that time of year, so northern coastal photography will be more challenging. That and the perpetually overcast winter skies. Still, it's a fantastic place.
