Anyone have any particularly good or bad things to say about their experiences with any stock agencies? I'm trying to decide which one to start with. Thanks

Start your own stock agency, that's where the money is made.

I've had the best luck with ShutterStock, iStock, Fotolia, and Pond5.

I don't really make that much on my photographs. I've also been shooting time lapse videos, assembled from a series of photographs, and I've made some money doing that. Photographs can sell for as little as $0.25. Most of my time lapse videos sell for around $20.

I also don't shoot typical stock photography material. I mostly shoot cityscapes and landscapes. I shoot what I like, on my own schedule, on my own terms, and make some money doing it. I've also just started selling prints on Etsy. Again, I'm not making big money, but I'm growing it slowly and I enjoy it.

Yeah I can't wait for it to implode. Death to micro stock photography.
