So, my best friend and his wife are expecting twins. I've shared some photos of them throughout the process, as I've photographed every step for them. She is a very petite woman, and the twins are taking a huge toll. They were supposed to be December babies but at this point, I don't doubt they'll be here before the end of the month or first week of November. I did a photoshoot early on, and we wanted to do something different and now showing the big belly.
I had a 1Dx and 200mm f/2L IS from CPS and we decided it was a great time to put both to use. Unfortunately, her condition is worse than I thought and we decided not to leave the house at all. So the 200mm didn't get used, but that didn't mean we couldn't take photos.
What ended up happening was a DIY home studio in their home, using the bright sunlight coming in through the glass doors to light the background, diffused with very high tech bed sheets. 
I combined that with my flash and umbrella kit I had brought to use outdoors for fill light, and some Photoshop...and voila.
I'm very pleased with these, as it's my first time using frequency separation extensively. This is not a paid shoot, but still, I wanted to do the best I could. I delivered 28 photos, doubled as color and B/W versions. Here's a mix of my favorites - please do offer C&C as I know I need it.
