Hi David,

That's an interesting structure. The sky should be darkened a bit, but the ground layer needs to be darkened a lot so that it looks like a night time shot. I know the moon can really light up a scene, and I am guessing that's why the ground layer is so bright, but the novelty of a night time shot looking like a day time shot is just that a novelty that wears out quick. If you are able, go back and shoot this when the moon is about 1/4, and is low in the horizon.

I like the composition and the contents. As suggested above, night shots should convey the night feeling thats why I concur with the suggestion to give another attempt under different conditions. You may be able to create a wonderful image with the stars and the rocks jumping out from the dark.
