p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · IBIS with adapted Nikon lenses with coded AF chips?

I am interested in adapting some Zeiss ZF lenses to EF mount with Leitax adapter mounts with programmable AF chips (e.g. Dandelion), and then to E-mount with a smart adapter. Assuming the chips are properly coded to their focal lengths, does anyone know if IBIS on the 2nd gen A7 bodies can be activated by such chips?

If anyone has practical experience with this I'd be grateful to hear it.

(Of course I realize I can just adapt ZE lenses. I am curious about the possibility of declicked manual aperture rings plus auto IBIS, which would be ideal for me.)

Well, it works no matter what. You manually input the focal length, and you get three axis IBIS. To get 5 axis, it could be possible. I know it works on adapted A mount lenses that have distance encoders (8 pin). Do Nikon lenses have distance encoding?

Thank you. I mean auto IBIS, not manual input of focal length.

I doubt 5-axis is possible because the ZE/ZF lenses don't feed focus distance info.
