Is this because 80D owners are bashful, or don't have any good images from it to show?

Go for it.

Thread title edited now that we have some images.

The more action shots showing AF performance, the better. Not just for my interest, I hope.

Thanks, Socrate. Are you able to comment on how the AF in AI Servo compares to that of the 7D2 or 1D4?

Please add what lens you used. The EXIF has been stripped from your images.

Nice set ... but now I know just how good I'M NOT.

The colors in that bark (first one) look very naturally rendered. The GBH colors look excellent too without looking "pushed".

Are these a stock profile, or custom PP?

Tony I haven't used the 80D much (I got it for my wife). When I shot those (easy) subjects with the 80D I didn't find any problem acquiring focus and tracking the subjects IF. So the following are just impressions I got shooting with the 80D especially with more challenging IF subjects compared to the 7D II. My 7D II feels snappier to acquire focus and shows a better ability to track and maintain a moving subject, which is what I would expect since the 7D II has a metering sensor a lot bigger (borrowed from the 1Dx and updated) than the one of the 80D. I also felt the need to have more AF points and the dedicated joystick to choose individual AF points.
As far as the 1dMk IV is concerned I believe the 80D still loses in continuous subject tracking compared the the "old" MkIV.
Having said so, I still believe the 80D is a good performer for wildlife shooting, but not enough to replace the 7DII (my first choice) or the MkIV (my second choice)

Thank you, Kent. These are all custom PP. I do use some actions for mid tones contrast and some color burst and a script for web sharpening, but my PP is done essentially in CR while I use PS for some minor make up.

Tony, I owned the 80D and sold it. I found the AF to be good, probably a little better than the 7D2 except it lacks a bunch of the AF modes. Although I really didn't give it enough testing to give a definitive opinion on AF. The issue for me with the camera was ergonomics....no AF selector was no beuno for me. I used it mostly for the 24MP with 1200mm for the newly hatched eaglets but then got the 5DSR and used that instead as its lack of AA filter and FF sensor gave a better image.

The biggest plus for the 80D was the 27 AF points with the 100-400II/1.4TCIII and being able to use zone mode which I like in a lot of scenarios without foreground distractions. But other than that, I own better tools for the trade like 5DSR and 1DXII.

Hey Geoff, you own every tool for the photo trade that is available. I can afford to do that, but can't lug all that gear around.

I did own the 7D2, but also had the inconsistent AF issue. As a backup to my 5DSR, the 80D sounds better solely because it would be used with the 100-400 II and 1.4x TC III.

With the rainstorm we are having right now, it would not matter what gear I owned.

I've not used it much yet, so I'm being pretty deliberate with it, but I'm happy so far.
