I know we've got a small community here still shooting old-school DX, and a community here shooting MF Nikkors.

But who still shoots film? I certainly do, currently shooting an FG and F80 as my primary bodies, with a F601m and EM also in my kit.

If you still shoot film with Nikon bodies, come in an post here. Everything from the F to the F6 welcome. Here's some recent uploads from my film kit

Some nice work there, but I'd like to see some stuff from my fellow FM members.

I started shooting with film again a couple of months ago and here are a few of my first attempts (I do the developing and scanning myself). I have quite a few Nikon film bodies but all the shots below are with an F6:

I so wished i had stocked up on Fuji Reala before it was disco'd. Finding it is a fun challenge, but still a challenge.

here is a shot taken with an F5, a cheap Tokina 17mm 3.5 SL RMC. I have two rolls of Reala left, and picked up a Nikon F65 a few years back and have clicked the shutter twice! I am heading to the big island on Tuesday, so will probably go through at least a roll.

Yeah, Reala was lovely stuff. I shot some in 120, but never in 35mm for some reason.

Here's a different bit of Fuji, Neopan 100SS though an F3HP

Nice idea, Adam.

I like to shoot film besides my D700 and Df: from half-frame to 35mm, Xpan and Horizon wide shots, 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, and 6x9 medium format, to 4 x 5 inch large format.
Do you want to see just Nikon SLR film shots? I happen to like the point-and-shoots and rangefinders too:

So THIS is what you've been up to Don.

Wonderful work as always. My guess is there was likely one or two manual focus Nikkor lenses at work here, so definitely think about sharing some of this work on the Manual Focus Nikon Glass thread. It would certainly be appreciated.

There are a number of folks hanging out on that thread that shoot film as well as digital, so we see images from time to time. There is something right about marrying film with Nikon's wonderful collection of manual focus lenses, all of which were designed for use on film cameras. Yes, we're blessed that they can be mounted on modern DSLR cameras, but they surely belong on Nikon film cameras as well. This is a lovely idea for a thread, but don't forget, when using a Nikon manual focus lens, these images would also be welcome on MFNG, the monster thread.

Anything Nikon is good by me, not just SLR's. This includes early Bronica's with Nikkors, LF stuff with Nikkors and RF stuff with Nikkors. As long as the glass and/or body is Nikon and the image was on film, it's welcome here.

Don't worry, I haven't forgot MFNG, but was simply looking to give anything shot on film it's own home. That's an awesome thread, but there's a lot of film-related stuff that doesn't fit MFNG but does fit here, including non-Nikon manual lenses on Nikon bodies, or AF lenses on Nikon bodies.

Still experimenting with shooting film at night. It's a lot easier with a D3s:

Nikon F6 & Noct-Nikkor 58/1.2 Ai-S. Ilford Delta 3200 at ISO 3200 developed in Ilford Microphen (1+0) at 20° C for 9 minutes. Scanned with an Epson v850 and processed in PS Elements 14 and NIK Analog Pro 2.

Here is another shot from my last roll of Ektar. The film was intentionally overexposed as an experiment and then processed in Lightroom to tone down the blown highlights in the scan. All the data was there. Film scans were done by Little Film Lab in California.

John Crane's excellent site gave me the idea. Here is a link to his article on overexposing Ektar if you want to read about it. http://www.nikonf6.net/uncategorized/pushing-kodak-ektar-2-stops/ Some exposures handled it well, others not so well. From what I've experienced and read, Ektar likes lots of light.

Here is an old pre-sunrise shot from years ago. I think it was Kodak film, since that was my normal stock. Shot with an N90s and probably my 28-85 lens.

Another one from a roll of Portra 400. Shot at 100 ISO and processed normally. Adjusted in Lightroom to bring back the highlights. This was also an experimental roll. I would probably not overexpose to this level again. If I was to do this again I'd try one stop over exposure next time.
