Very nice! I can't help but want to see the shot from the end of the pier that shows the same view without the boat. I like this but I would love to see the alternate shot too.

Lake Moraine is beautiful. I love your shots. When I went there a few years ago I had no clouds and this nice drama in the sky you've captured.
I wonder how this place presents itself in the Winter time, and other lakes/places in the Canadian Rockies?
Anyway, great shots, I like the second a bit more because it shows the lake's amazing green/blue color.

Winter is dicy as they close the roads usually. Best time for wintery type shots is in May when there is still snow but roads are open

Nice shots! I do love this location but the crowds have become terrible over the past two years. I went there this summer and arrived 1.5hrs before sunrise. There were already so many people, it was tricky to get a good composition. That is the main reason you see so many shots with the vantage point in the second photo. If you try and go up higher to get the rocks in the foreground, there are way too many people that get in your way. I am waiting for the road to close so I can ski or bike in with no humans around...

Yea I usually go weekdays about an hour before sunrise which means leaving calgary at 4am. Ugly but worth it

Thank You!
I will take the second in a heart beat. Both are beautiful shots but the second lets me forget the crowds.
Excellent shot with beautiful exposure!
Again, thank you,
Greg
