Man, nuthin' compares to the bokeh from the chubby!!

Beautiful model and lighting. If it's a composite you did a super job. Not crazy about the WB and the muted colors, but I guess that's the style right now.

Super image.

TFS!

Good golly that's a nice photo! Yeah, your equipment is nice, but you really caught a perfect moment here. Wall hanger indeed!

Print this out and frame it NOW! This is a keeper for sure. Such a magical moment that you've preserved, everything is perfect - from the butterfly, to her expression and pose, to the light beams from the upper left, to the bokeh, and not to mention the colours. Outstanding!

Great image but, personally, I would have liked a level horizon. The tilt bother me. And the butterfly is a composite right? It looks sharper than the hand it sits on. Nonetheless, it's a very good image.

i'm pretty sure the horizon is balanced. the tree in the back ground grows straight and true and the girl is most likely on a slight downward slope. had he tilted the image for a straight grass line, then the tree would be pointed toward the left top corner and that would feel more imbalanced to me.

the ground can't always be a straight flat line in all pictures

there are ways you can correct the horizon while keeping the tree vertical

thats not what I meant. You dont have to change the horizon every time. rules are meant to be broken sometimes.

Certainly you can go into photoshop and use either the Liquify tool to rotate the tree trunk back or use the perspective/skew/distort tool or puppet warp... but why?

Sometimes things can be just fine and balanced the way they are.

The photo has almost a surreal feel to it that is complemented by the slight tilt of the horizon. Nice to know you CAN correct that if you want, but I think the original photo works as is. Nice shot J.

I don't really like long focal lengths, not really my style, but when I see a photo like this is makes me reconsider for a minute

The little girl (subject) is soooo captivating and magical that I never even noticed the horizon. Stunning photo! Thanks for sharing.
