Indeed! Not easy Naddy. While I myself used to be into bodybuilding in my younger days, it's very hard to maintain when we get older, especially over 50. Most of the fitness models work as personal trainers or strippers, some do both. Most of the guys are on cycles of HGH but almost all have good genes to start with i.e. mesomorph body type. Best of luck with your training, consistency, patience and avoiding injury are keys to progress and longevity.
Why is it that everyone wants these types of bodies but can't do the work, lol. But like you said, it's easier for people with mesomorph body types. I don't even know if I'm a mesomorph, endomorph, or ectomorp,h but I'll take this as a motivation and stop procrastinating. Another thing that didn't help my procrastination was when I came across this article about muscle loss: how quickly can you lose muscle? It now makes me feel like I might lose all my gains if I don't exercise for a week.
