Ah, OK, sorry. I thought it would be more apparent.
All the leaves were green. The reddish color is too extreme pushing in post and exceeds what the sensor can manage.
technical:
Shot in pitch black, Sony A7s, ISO 400. The whole image is pushed about +2 EV and the dark parts further +1.5 stops with the brush in LR.
It still looked good when editing the whole RAW file, but when I exported the image just from the smart-preview it rendered like this.
The color and the texture are a sensor artifact.
What I wanted to say is, that if we sometimes push the limits far further then the technic was made for, we can get surprising and sometime pleasing results.
Only if you experiment and actually try things instead of just saying "ainīt going to work" we have the chance to discover something new for ourselves.
Sounds more philosophical then it was intended...
