this thing looks kinda perfect. Thank you.

The more bags the merrier !

BTW, I didn't specify in my post above that the camera with the Batis 18mm with the hood in the shooting position was stored face down, like the way you had the lens in the picture you posted above, just with the camera on the top of it. You can grab the camera/lens easily and the fit was just fine that way. Although I do have heavier duty TT belts but for that particular trip, I used my Think Tank Thin Skin belt since that belt is thin enough, enabling me to clip the camera holster anywhere on the belt.

I don't have an individual case for either the 18 or 25 (Why are they SO big?), but I use a Lowepro 190 AW bag for the A7 with 5 lenses. One of those is the tiny Zony FE 35/2.8, if Zeiss do introduce a Batis 35/2, as I really do hope they will, I'll need to upsize. I like Lowepro bags especially for their waterproof cover.

The sun managed to penetrate rain clouds at the Grand Canyon, creating a dramatic effect.

Wow! As pretty as the canyon is, the sky and mist are what make this image outstanding.

Thank you very much, Scott! I am still counting my blessings to be able to witness the wonder of weather phenomenon there.

Here is another image a few minutes later; it is a cropped image looking the next Powell point, it is about 0.5 mile straight line from Hopi. Although there were only 3 people left at Hopi, apparently there were also handful at Powell point. Standing on the ledge on the right side of the image, this lady was using her cell phone to take picture of the rain/clouds/mist lit by the sun in the deeper part of the canyon. I took a few panoramic shots of the scene, including this spectator in another set of frames.

Batis 18 on A7 (Some classic A7 sensor reflections too! I'm waiting for A7RII prices to come down, before changing.)
I really love this lens, and so nearly didn't get it, thinking it was too wide for my style of photography!
