As this adapter brought a new life to my many legacy lenses - I had many lenses with stiff focus, low contrast, short MDF which are revived on this wonderful adapter.

I am interested to see an images taken by many great photographers shooting with this combo.

Does this thread want photos that are MF using the adopter or only AF?

An uninteresting subject. SOOC jpg. Canon 50mm/1.4 LTM on the A7II using TAP. At wider apertures, the corners are quite bad. The Olympus 50/1.8 is sharper & vignettes less at wider apertures.

Personally, I would not be using the TAP on a lens that has stiff MF; surely that will shorten its life? I had a Leica 50/2 Summicron that had extremely stiff focus and I simply had it CLA'd locally and the tech. I used had three weights of grease to choose from (including "focus with fingernail" light). Just a thought.

Have you used the TAP? It works by moving the lens (or the camera mounted on a heavy lens) back and forth. It does not rotate the focusing ring so I don't think that it matters whether the lens in question has a stiff focusing ring or not.

No worries, Kit. It was a good thought. Hope my post did not sound harsh.

Finally got a chance to take the camera out to take some photos with the TAP .. these were all with the Nikkor-P Nippon Kogaku 8.5cm f/2 (using Nikon(S) to LM adapter)

autofocusing was all good with this one

This should be xposted to Sony.

I'm looking for samples with the CV 35/1.2 and how accurate it is.

Looks to me that a lot of people are trying too hard to shoot wide open and force bokeh where it does not add to the image. A few images from the pumpkin patch are very nice.

I think that is a global problem. Not just this thread.
