Love this lens, sharp from f2, good contrast and very decent bokeh. The only con is no AF

Feel free to post images here from any other camera.

I'd like to cross post it on Canon & Sony forum. How can i do that?

I'd think this might make more sense in the alternative gear/lens forum?

Also to answer your question you need 500 posts before you can cross post between forums.

Thanks for info. I have managed to copy/paste it into the alternative gear/lens forum. I guess i will also need to have 500 posts to be able to delete my initial post ?

@admin/Fred please go ahead and delete this whole thread from Nikon forums. Thanks

I'm glad I found the thread here. I'm interested in this lens.
I wonder how hard do you find focusing on D750? Do you use any aids, do you use magnified LV or just viewfinder?

I wonder how usable it would be in LV/magnified LV with Zacuto Z-finder or similar.

I have recently tried some of my Nikon mount primes on a6000 while D750 was in service for shutter repair. With focus peaking and zoom it was usable for non moving subjects, with moving it was more like spray and pray while wiggling with focus ring (still got some good pictures that way).

Here is the thread in the alternative lens forum which should make more sense long term: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1450134

Hopefully the original poster has some feedback for you from a d750 perspective.

I'm shooting it on a d800. Close shots are pretty easy to find focus on through the view finder, farther away is harder but I find the focus dot is actually pretty darn close to spot on. Live view on the d800 blows, I never use it.

All my samples were done handheld through viewfinder using white dot technique. I find it very accurate, just have to practise more. Live view + magnifier technique is quite slow and makes more sense when shooting in studio or shooting static objects. For anything else white dot technique through viewfinder is faster/better.

This lens is not very suitable for shooting moving objects as any other MF lens. Im not saying it is not possible but lens with AF would be much easier to use.

This lens is almost 4 times cheaper than Zeiss 135/f2 and optically it has literally the same performance. Samyang did excellent job with it.
