I removed the noise, using the weakest setting which looked good to me (Topaz Denoise6). I use this first when I open my RAW file images, before any other manipulation.

Any NR should do it but some also remove subject surface detail.

I believe Topaz DeNoise6 is standalone. If you buy Topaz software you make no payments in later years and get updates for life.

I vaguely remember that, when I started with digital, I thought that I had removed all the noise but others could still see some.
