Brings back great memories buddy...............and Thanks for the floral remembrance
Technically that is an excellent presentation, it really has a lot of character with the lighting and dimensions. Also I noticed you used the 'long floral lens' for this one............sweeeeeeet
Is #2 a juvi redhead or red bellied? You nailed the focus!
I am getting the urge again to shoot...............I just need some equipment again !
Take care, the nice time of the year is approaching
Best to you Ron and thanks again........

Thanx Karl. I think you should trade in some chemical weapons for optical weapons. As far as lens choice - I was in the blind waiting for the juvi Red Head and glanced at the flower and noticed it was occasionally being lit up through the trees as the sun moved to the west. Knowing the Red Heads were skittish, I didn't want to risk scaring them by moving the lens. However, when I spooked the RHs anyway, I moved the 500 and took a few shots as the light changed.
I'm pretty sure that's a juvi Red Bellied because it showed up with adult RBs. The juvi RH looks much like the adults except it has a very dark gray head.
