I already have Panasonic 14mm F2.5 but thinking of getting Olympus 12mm F2 Lens.

12mm I can get it for $400 in used market but Pani is roughly $150 in used market

Is it worth the extra cost and size?

Please share some images if you have with these lenses.[

The 12mm is really a good lens, but the 14mm is an excellent value. The 12mm focuses incredibly well in all lighting conditions and is quite sharp. I consider it the better lens, but it's definitely more expensive and might not be worth the cost for some people.

The Olympus 12/2 lens is a jewel of a lens and $400 is an excellent price, as the original price was $800.

I borrowed and shot the auroras in Iceland with the 12/2 lens last year:

I love the 12, it's really compact and at f/2. But I never used it when I had it because the 12-40 wide open was almost as good. But for a compact lens and the extra stop it's a joy to use.

Well, I have both and neither get a whole lot of use.

The 14/2.5 is incredibly small and can often be found quite cheap de-kitted on E-bay. In the end though it really offers almost no IQ advantage over most of the kit zooms nor is it much faster than them. A much more expensive but also more wonderful lens is the 15/1.7 which is still very small (pairs great with a GM1 or GM5), much faster and at least for me has gangbusters rendering. Love the 15/1.7 to death and it is practically welded to my GM1.

The 12/2 is actually quite a wonderful lens, but again now with the 12-40/2.8 and 12-35/2.8 around it really isn't that much faster and IQ is similar. But of course it is quite a bit smaller and lighter. One weakness in my book is a bit of field curvature at infinity which means its stopped down corner performance for landscape is not what I'd hope from a relatively expensive prime - again on par with the 12-40/2.8 when I'd hoped it would be even better.

Another vote for the 15/1.7 as a great lens, if that's wide enough for you. Mine, too, is welded to my GM1. The aperture ring makes for excellent haptics. Compact, fast, very nicely built, and the rendering is lovely.

It has that Panasonic/Leica family look.
