The Chasm is located near Milford Sound, just after that spooky tunnel.

I was more intrigued by the eroded rocks around the waterfall and I had to go back to this place the next day after the bus/cruise tour to the Milford Sound, NZ

Here is my cellphone shot.

Don't tell me that my cellphone shot is better than my camera shot!!!

The color balance in the video is vastly superior to the single image. This viewed on my calibrated NEC PA 271bk SVII monitor. The single image has a cyan cast. It looks OK in isolation, but the more natural rendering in the video I much prefer.

I agree with you a lot. The single image has a cyan cast which I am working on to get rid of. :-)
These were taken on two different days and the image with camera.. the day was somewhat dull and cloudy.. that is another my excuse.

Interesting pattern of the rocks. spoiled by the milky water. (sorry personal opinion) I don't know who came up with the idea of milky water which to me is very distracting. Clear water in creeks allows the patterns of the creek bottom to show through along with sky reflections which can be much more interesting. I would have liked to see that scene shot at 1000.

Perhaps next time, if I have a chance I will try to see what it will look like at 1000. :-)

Those rock patterns on the right are the star to me. Combined with the moss highlights they are awesome.
