This is last September's lunar eclipse along the Turret Ridge outside Ridgeway Colorado. I overlaid the 30 sec moon with a 3/10 sec moon. The two images were shot seconds apart.

This looks very nice - I like the dark landscape with just enough light. I'd like to see a larger version to really examine it. I've done the same with double exposure blends of the moon. Did you have to enlarge the 2nd to deal with movement or just clone/auto fill over the old one?

Thanks Jim for you comment, I appreciate it. I'm sure many will frown upon the processing required to make the final image, but the final image depicts quite accurately what I saw. And, I really wanted to capture this magical moment for myself as I remembered it.

I started with a 4 image pano using 105mm, but only 3 images would stitch together. I then took a proper exposure of the moon. The attachments should explain everything.
