You could buy one of those coding sheets from ebay or something and do it yourself.

Do I have to adapt flange in a special way too?

Not to my knowledge with that code sheet or template it gives you the outline of the ovals all you do is fill in the black or white depending on the coding. I think it comes with the leica equiv lenses coding info as well.

I don't bother to code the lenses, just select the lens profile manually. I don't change lenses too often so it works for me. If I recall correctly, the best profile for the ZM 18 is the 24/2.8.

I prefer to have my lens flanges coded but that's just me. The main reason is that I always forget to change the profile and it messes up a bunch of pictures. I was going to suggest that you use John Milich for milling the coding grooves into your flange or to buy a replacement brass one. Sadly though, I just saw he passed away last month.

I suppose you could look online for a good quality pre-grooved flange. You may want to call DAG as he used to send his flanges to John for coding. Maybe he knows of someone? Either way, make sure you try all the different profiles first to determine which one you prefer. Like Edward, I used the 24/2.8 with good results. Best of luck!

Thank you very much to your contributions. You have used 24/2.8 profile and not 21/2.8?
Okay I will ask DAG too.
