Anyone achieving this? What's the max shutter speed you can sync at? And I do mean hypersync and not HSS.

The 5dmk3 will sync upto 1/8000th using the cells IIc & Godox 360 in either HSS or Hypersync
(long Burn)

In hypersync an important consideration is the tail of the strobe you are using. the steeper the tail the more gradient that will appear as the shutter speed increases.

i.e, it will work at any shutter speed. Acceptable results may dictate a narrower range.

My Godox XT32c arrived today, and I'm glad to say with a setting of 30ms pre-sync (in the menu) I can pick up a good 1.5 stops of light compared to the cells IIc at full power...this is in both HSS and Longburn Supersync...

the only downside is, if the trigger is turned off, the Pre-Sync setting needs to be put in again, it only takes 5s, but its an annoyance...

thanks guys. What practical output can I expect at say F8 at 1/800? Will that work with the 5" reflector, the diffusion cover and 10 feet away from the subject?

Just done a quick test and Yes, you can get a good exposure at 1/800 @ F8 at 10ft away, i didnt use the diffuser cover(cant find it) it would only sap power anyway and at that distance would make any difference to the light quality...I was using the XT32c which gives a huge difference in HSS/Hypersync power.

Would anyone confirm that the xt-32 and appropriate receivers will allow me to hyper/super sync my original 360's as well as my older Bowens strobes?

I'm not looking to do HSS, I'm looking for that timing adjustment so I can buy as much shutter speed as possible.

Either of the Transmitter units (X1, XT-32) will do hypersync with receivers that do not understand HSS, like the XT-16, and both will allow the timing adjustment.

Dunno about mixing with the Bowens. They should trigger, but the optimum timing will probably be different.

I have the Yongnuo 622n-TX and if I set SS (SuperSync) to "Auto", my Bowens can be used up to 1/8000 sec but I get the most even coverage across the frame if I lower the flash output level on the Bowens.

Similar settings might work with the Godox triggers?
