These are great Shawn! I really like them.
I'd like to make two modest suggestions. On #10, consider cropping out some of the grass. I think it will sustain the mood yet make the composition a little more dynamic.
On #13, there's a big brown sprig of grass dead center the pulls my eye away from the subject. Clone it out on another layer and then toggle that layer on and off and see which you think works better.

Shawn, fantastic set!
It seems more contrasty than what I'm used to from you. The first shot, even though the baby's not in great lighting (coming straight down) is completely magical! I love No. 8 as well.
I completely agree with Doug's two suggestions. Going even further, I'm going to suggest something else that I also struggle with. The 2x3 aspect ratio. Not every pic is meant to be kept at that ratio. If any direction, our first way to change is to to go 4x5 or even 1x1. But some of these would look cool, I think with a more cinematic ratio aspect, a really strong horizontal where you cut out more of the grass. I think the sky is much more interesting in 9, 11 and 13. In fact, with the boy kind of looking up in 9, I'd keep the 2x3 but shift the shot up so the grass is only at the bottom of the frame and the sky -- which to me is more interesting and conceptually (to me) represents their future -- is a major factor in the image.
Sorry about writing so much, esp since you didn't ask for c&c.
And 14 is totally rad! Great job!...Show more →

#1 is a clean mirror composite. Good job.
thank you, the side i mirrored wasn't even that bad but i was very OCD with it and wanted that clean composition.
