Shot this one a couple years ago with the wife's T1i and cheapo lens I had back then.
IQ was pretty sad to say the least but it's an image I could never let go of.
This is "The One" that sparked my deep interest into photography and so the roller coaster ride began.
I just revisited it to see what I could do with it with a little modern day pp work.
My intent with my processing is for a soft and gentle warm summer eve mood.
I like it, not real sharp, but that's just fine because it's a soft orton like effect and absolutely great light. You could clone out the flare but even that seems to work here.

the flare makes me think moonrise, although the position makes no sense. adds to a surreal quality. I would leave it
maybe a little strongly burnt right corners?

This is the kind of light and processing I find absolutely captivating! Fanciful and dreamy with a beautiful, beautiful subject in a setting full of interesting details. Love the flare! Is there Nik midnight filter involved?
I love the dreamy look and rimlighting. I think that your PP give the image a very interesting mood and a soft focus look. Beautifully captured!
I do agree with others about the lens flare and vignetting.
