Sick with a terrible flu this week and going a bit stir crazy I took a little time today to look at old files and found this one that I both took and processed 2 - 1/2 years ago. Shot it with the Voigtlander 12mm. The image makes me very excited to get back down to the SW this year (July - Nov). Hope to see many of you out there!

Thank you for looking.

Nice shot I like it. Amazing that tree can grow there. Im not sure, but perhaps more details and texture in the rock would make me like it even more. Hope you feel better.

Hey Mark,

I hope you are feeling better, having a flu is never fun. Yep, that is one cool tree. The changing color of the leaves is nice, and you have some nice soft light to compliment it.

I hope for your sake, you carry some garlic or ginger "homeless guy". Especially staying most of the year far from civilization, I wish you well.

Love the composition and colors, something bothers me about those detail less rocks...

Cheers!
Andrey

While the color is amazing here, I would be curious to see a BW conversion, as the yellow leaves would probably pop nicely against the darker values in the middleground.

Hey Andrey,

What are you suggesting here? Since Mark is by himself so much that he can eat Garlic cause it doesn't matter how bad his breath might get?

For sure!

By the way some consider it a good smell, but ginger is the way to go, its much more powerful...

Great composition and execution!

It seems summer time colds and flu are going around more often these days. I have had colds the last two summers after decades of that not happening. Lots of people traveling this time of year seem to be afflicted as well.

Rest so that you can get better and enjoy the outside again!

Thank you. That would be cool, except there was really no texture to work with... Thank you. I have been sick about 2 weeks now. It has been frustrating.

Thank you very much Andrey. Luckily I caught this when visiting the parents. I have been crashed out in their basement for 2 weeks now!

Thank you Bob. I am resting. Been having anxiety issues too sitting around doing nothing. Very tough for me.
