2. the mill closed with very short notice and some workers did not retrieve their shoes.

Powerful image of the shoes, especially knowing a bit of the history. But even without, one could imagine many stories. The spools is yet another super-interesting shot of shapes and shadows.

Linda, there were old spools stored in all the corners - thousands of them.
there should be a spool cemetery!
