I want to assign ai servo to the af on button with 10 frame rates and one shot one frame to the star button.
I cannot find a way to do that. It seems that it is not possible to assign different frame rates to the 2 buttons. Am I wrong?

What you want can't be done. You could make the DOF button a switch for One Shot and the Back buttons AI-Servo. You could also use C1 etc to make the switch from One Shot and one frame to Servo with 10 FPS.

cant be done

Use your C3 and C2 Program modes

C3
- since this is the last rotation on the dial, make it your default

C2
- this is your next goto mode
- being C2, and you can only turn the dial one way from this point, you can keep your eye on the target, just reach up and turn it 1 click

Under custon settings if you choose the AF or * (or other) set the function and then hit the info button (detail set) you can choose servo or one shot for each button.

I have been saying for months that the detail set is missing Drive Mode. I have been hoping for a FW update and I thought we might see it on the IDX II. It would make that menu even sweeter.

I had mine set up for servo on the * and one shot on the AF button for a while, it is there under detail set. Now I have servo on both with auto AF point selection on AF and single point expanded on the * and one shot on the DOF.
