Actually, all I did was get the clouds silver/gray from the original weird blue that storm clouds seem to get captured as. And made sure the blue portion of the sky was correct, and let the chips fall where they did for the rest. You just have to have an anchor to work from, and those were two good anchors. Anyone who spends time in southern Utah notices how the sand and clay, and red rock, can change colors immediately once it rains and the soil/rock gets saturated, so those aren't reliable as far as color..
