Also magic -

200 f2
24 f1.4
500 f4
85 f1.4
400 f2.8

Just one feller's opinion

theme seems to be ... It's fast and it's darkside.

The 20, 28 and 85 1.4 trio kills. 50mm is not dramatic enough for me. The 58 is neat but I prefer the drama of a 28 and 85 combo with the occasional 20mm.

To me the 58mm is the single best prime lens for a DX camera where it provides the picture angle of a 85mm on a FX camera. To bad Nikon took so long to release it. I needed it during the 7 years preceding the entry of the D3.

I don't quite know how the exif says 70-200. On my computer it says I shot it with my 58mm 1.4.... WEIRD. I'll take a peek and see if I can figure out what happened. I'm starting to think maybe it was the 70-200 but bridge says I used the 58, and the falloff / bokeh looked very 58 to me.....

so I feel so stupid now. I closed bridge, opened it again and all is fixed. It definitely was my 70-200 2.8. DUMB ME, haha.

Your 70-200 destroyed this 58 shot. Lol. That image was so sharp. This one is not.

Check out this shot and then tell me how much sharper the 58G could be... One must learn how to use this lens to get sharp results.
Mind you, it was shot close to MFD as well...
