Camera is an import model that has never given me a problem. I bought this new on ebay right when they came out. It has the most recent firmware update. Grip is USA and is very useful for doing video as two batts are better than one. Camera and grip come with boxes, one Sony battery, but no books (manual is free online). I will not separate the camera from the grip but if someone wants the grip for $150, I'd do that. XAVC-S files are SWEET and performs great next to no light. High ISO king! Price is firm so don't ask--with the grip, it's like getting the body for $1000.

All of the Sony cameras world-wide are able to shoot PAL and NTSC. When you turn the power on on this one, you get a screen that says you are shooting in NTSC, you touch the shutter release, and it goes away. When I first got it, the screen language was all in Japanese but you just go into the menu and change the language to English and it's now no different from a USA model.
