It appears CPS has not updated their product registration camera list to include the 1D X Mark II. CPS has been notified, I'm sure they will update it shortly.

Yup, and pretty sad when you stop to think about it. Easier to understand when dealing with lesser businesses but a premier company like Canon to not pay attention to the details when rolling out their top of the line offering is inexcusable.

I believe they have block update points set, so they update periodically on a schedule. That does make sense given Canon's poor record with websites (they seem to have more glitches than most major web sites).

I'm glad that Canon prioritizes their resources to make sure their products work properly (unlike their competitors), rather than spending time on their web site.

Yes, despite having had months to update the website, I can not register my 1DX at the general Canon website, or add it to my products at CPS. I emailed and got a reply that they will be working on it.
