I love catching cats in mid stride showing the underside of their paws...just have to be patient and let them do their cave walk.

Neat shot --- second one highlights your incredible timing to frame the Puma with the shape of the rock as well as the paw.

Cool! (I have new adjectives for your work on back order)

I would be happy with head, or paws, or body, or even a good backside shot of the cougar. There are lots around but they have a 6th sense in avoiding me.

Great shots. Scott

The pads have a bit of a blue/green hue. Must be the local dirt. Two lovely shots Eric.

Thanks so much everyone....it was a great setting to photograph this puma. Unfortunately it eventually exited the cave pathway and walked up the cliff....which of course meant we had to do the same....somehow it seems better suited for that activity than someone with an AARP card!
And I do think the rocks and dirt impart whatever tinge you are seeing...for what it's worth I don't see it but then again my color perception is not quite normal.

Best sequence of the trip; worth the wait. I was thrilled to see it actually happen.

Wonderful shot! The framing of the cliff really adds a wonderful texture to it. Great timing Eric.
