This was from one of my most rewarding nature shoots. I was using my old Tamron 28-300 because my 17-70 was in the shop. After I got this pic, a mink came into view just beyond these reeds dragging a shrew across the frozen pond. That one belongs, I think, in the Nature Forum, so, if you are interested, you can find it there.

like this one a lot. Great receding layers of light and texture. The fact the house is slightly behind the trees gives it a nice sense of mystery.
