Shot this on a chilly hill in Derbyshire with a city girl who wasn't at all sure about working outside But it was worth it!

It looks too detailed? The skin has a textured look. Love the overall look though!

I have done nothing to it - maybe just a very sharp lens.

Kind of an interesting comment.......what's 'off' is that it hasn't been processed to the point where it looks like plastic.

I like the picture.....very well done.

I think the skin thing is just her makeup. Her foundation might be caked on a little heavy for her youthful age. A very sharp lens in a frozen moment probably reveals this better than a mirror. Clearly, the lens is unafraid to show detail... look at the delineation in the strands of hair. Speaking of detail, I keep wanting to flick away whatever that thing is in her nose with a healing tool, but then I realize that's the jewelry of today's generation.

I've always liked the inherent movement and juxtaposition of the reverse look pose... her walking away but looking back. It says to the viewer "I'm not posing, I'm heading somewhere, but I am looking back to check you out", which engages the viewer a bit more than straight poses.
