UPDATE: I cleaned up this lens very nicely, and it looks much, much better than on my original posted pics.
Nikon 50mm 1.4G. I bought it used in exactly same condition. You wqill see in Pic #5 below what appears to be someone who previously screwed in filter with thick outer flange and it peeled a little rubber back. Both front and rear elements are flawless. The front glass is so deeply recessed, it better not ever be damaged!!
The name plate has minor fading on the "NIKON" part of the front. THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES, DENTS, or PAINT LOSS ANYWHERE ON THE BODY! It is in very good shape other than items mentioned.
AF is fast (yes, fast on my D800) and accurate. Super-sharp lens. Comes with both caps, OEM soft case, and brand-new 3rd party hood.

I have two (2) Series E Nifty Fifty's that are basically first cousins, or twin siblings. They look identical, perform identical....are identical.
These are sharp lenses, of course, as most should know. No scratches, no mold, no imperfections at all -- amazing that both look this way.
Pick either one, and choice of filter to go along with purchase. Will include front and rear caps, also, and shipping. I don't know how much either are worth to the next guy....thanks for looking. !! |
