Apologies for breaking the rules, have merged the threads into one.
We visited Lower Klamath and Tulelake NWR, and Klamath Falls wildlife area (Miller Island unit) last weekend. Nice weather, great sunrise/sunset. As for the wildlife, lots to see...the problem being getting close enough. I don't know now many baldies we saw, maybe 50-100..but almost all were very far away. Same with the ducks, geese and swans. The animals seemed pretty skittish to me, moreso than at Sacramento NWR. Maybe because of the proximity of cars and animals at the latter...Still an amazing place to visit, we just didn't get lucky with closeups. Also saw several coyotes prowling around. This is going to become an annual trek for us I hope. Here are a few pics from the weekend....
