I think I just purchased another C/Y 35-70 (haven't paid waiting on him)
I had it on the Canon 5D mkII and it was a joy to use

Does this lens still hold up to the large files of the Nikon D800/E?
What are the sharpening techniques that you use with these files (PS or LR)?
He has a Leitax adapter to Nikon on it do these work well?

Anyway I could go on and on ... but any of you that have both of these and some photo's would you place them here .. don't want to turn this into a long thread just want to see how it would do.
And I've been on the alt lenses thread and seen most of the photo's on the C/Y 35-70 but want only to see the D800/E since they have the same sensor as mine.

I don't remember any of the details Lynn since I had this lens on a D800 at the same time as a Zeiss 35/2 and Contax 85/1.4, both of which I used much more frequently. However I do remember it was very sharp, even at 100% and I had zero issues with it.
I'm sure you will be delighted, it's a cracking lens on the D800 that I'd certainly not hesitate to buy again (using a D800E now).

Leitaxed lenses are just about the best way to adapt a lens there is. They have a superb reputation.
