So for me, I agree with many of the previous comments that #1 is a wonderful shot, and I enjoyed 2 and 3 as well, but I need to throw a little love towards #4 - I mean it is the absolutely arresting image of the group for me. The comp is great, love the small tree and the colored rocks in the foreground that I assume give the place its name, but the 'timing' of your shutter click, with the sky drama and crashing wave, really make it. The color throughout is very dramatic too. That needs to be up on the wall BIG somewhere...

Thanks so much Mikey. The orange lichen on the rocks is very striking but not where the name "Bay of Fires" came from, although I'd always assumed this myself. The bay was named by early sailors who passed by at night and saw many aboriginal campfires dotting the coastline of the bay. I noticed the orange lichen seemed to be quite common along much of the east coast.
