Finally got out to do some real shooting today. Not much to see but what I did see, I liked!
The last light was fast approaching when I came across this young bobcat prowling around a large body of water. It played a little hide and seek hoping I would give up and move on but I waited. After about 10 minutes of well hidden waiting (see the first shot), the bobcat decided it was time to make a move. Seeing that I didn't appear to be a threat, the bobcat continued on its way down the water's edge, stopping occasionally to see if I'd give up. Spent almost an hour following, photographing and waiting. It is just so cool to see bobcats in the wild.
All shot with the Nikon D810, 800mm f/5.6 Spot-metered
This bobcat was well camouflaged when I spotted him.
