I purchased the Sigma dock for AF fine tuning, anyone have luck with it?

The dock is excellent, we finally have some proper control over the focus calibration rather than a crude offset. Of course there will still be those people who insist it's existance is only because they are lesser lenses....

It does take a long time to do since you must keep connecting the lens to the dock for each adjustment (why no micro-usb port in the lens?) and do 4 distances. Do a dot-tune (google it) at these distances to get an idea of where the best range is going to be (the fine-tune values do not match the in-camera ones), do a few in steps of 5 to narrow it and then single increments. For a zoom - well you'll be there for quite some time.

My 35 is being serviced right now for a decentered lens. Have no idea how that happened as I don't remember dropping or banging it.
