Took in the Pioneer Days celebration in a nearby town - nice family oriented gathering - historical demonstrations, some in period dress, plus the ubiquitous 'country crafts' persons. And lots of home - cooking: chicken and dumplings, apple fritters, varieties of grits, and okra plus the usual fare.
First set of a husband and wife manning the muzzle-loading rifle exhibit. Several times he fired a volley - I missed them.
His fox-skin hat had been an exquisite animal - beautiful gold and white fur.
Other parts to follow, trying to organize in a coherent, theme-based, series. EXIF is all over the landscape - have not used Fujis in too long a time.
Thanks for looking,
Bob
