Lovely poses and compositions. To my eye a little too bright particularly the squirrel's orangey tones and highlights in #1 (tail, top of head, blown tree stump patch). #2 is my favorite with the nice blurred shapes in the background and the complex foreground detail. Great bokeh in all three.
Thanks for the comments. What I have noticed watching the Red Squirrels over the last year is that they change colour a huge mount over the course of the year, from really bright oranges/reds/whites in summer to sliver/black/dark orange/brown in the winter.
It was my first time using the 70-200, so its a big learning curve to get the DOF and Bokeh nice. I've just bought the 200-500 and the Bokeh is much nicer in this than with the f4 70-200.
